Let's implement this for research articles as well. Could be implemented for anything which is being linked by its DOI-address?
In the long run: once @ORCID_Org offers a specific field for researchers' Fediverse handles (like what we at @tibosl already did for VIVO), that handle can be fetched by means of DOI/ORCID metadata.
