Diese Blume würde ich mir gerne in klein hinters Ohr stecken. Aber vielleicht höre ich auch gerade zuviel .

Beinahe 2m hohe Blüte von Amorphophallus titanum. Der Blütenkelch, innen lila und aussen weiß mit oben lila auslaufenden Streifen, ist weit geöffnet. Aus dessen Mitte entspringt der gelbe, zwei Meter hohe, sich bis zu 37°C aufwärmende und stark nach Aas riechende Blütenkolben. Die Blüte ist ebenso imposant schön wie abstoßend stinkend.
