Susanna Weber gave an excellent keynote talk to 400 participants of @ESciTage. She presented the Data Stewardship Network at @uzh in which 40 data stewards support researchers with their disciplinary rdm knowledge. The Data Stewardship Network connects data stewards, builds their expertise and creates a community of practice. In her insightful and entertaining talk, she made it clear that Data Stewardship is an investment into good science.

Today I was essentially told that if I can find funding for myself after my PhD (in about 10 months), great, if not, there are no backup plans to retain me.

So, if any of you know about opportunities on #openscience #metascience and #DataStewardship, even better if remotely I'd be grateful. I was in the first DS course in Italy, I know bioinformatics and responsible, reproducible science, and I'm deeply interested in exploring what FAIR has to offer.
