Logseq journals and contents explained:
Btw. I switched back to @obsidian from #logseq
Obsidian works much more stable and fast for me. I also have the impression Obsidian improves at a much faster pace.
It's so good to use simple markdown files which can "easily" used in many apps. For the migration from LogSeq I only had to do some full-text search and replace.
Breaking Free from Digital Roach Motels: A Journey Through Note-Taking Tools
As technology evolves, so do our relationships with digital tools. This exploration dives into the emotional and technical complexities of note-taking systems, highlighting the struggle between produc...
You can customize Logseq with themes and plugins.
I love how Logseq works for my brain. Like... i love that it is kind of .... "structureless" (but also i need to work more with it and use all its's features)
BUT there are some things i really really miss and don't even know if they will be implemented.
- Sharing pages with other people
- Server and/or website use
Like... i want a "client" on my mobile and one on my PC. They should be synchronized. And THEN i want to share some notes with my GF. So i want to give here like...
What #selfhosting option is there for memos, notes, tasks, and habits?
#nextcloud kind of sucks
#obsidian isn’t #foss
#logseq doesn’t sync and is vc funded
Using #trilium #memos #baikal #beaverhabits now

I have tried many times before to take notes but the burden of having to decide where I should put my notes and trying to remember where I put them every time I was looking for something, made me stop every single time. With #logseq, I write everything in my journal and Logseq takes care of organizing my notes for me.
Trying to decide: Obsidian.md or Logseq — which one is the ultimate tool for knowledge management and note-taking?
Both have their strengths, but I’m curious:
Which do you use and why?
Pros, cons, hidden features — let’s discuss!
