Converting #bookwyrm over to a #meal planning app, similar to whisk, doesn't appear to be that difficult a task compared to what I'm already doing in #Frienidca (poorly and slowly). Just requires a calendar function, a #recipe conversion function and a shopping list function on top of its regular platform and just gut the ISBN function. Mealwyrm would be pretty awesome and its written in python which is cakewalk compared to PHP. The only question is, do I have the time drive and energy with all of my other projects. Sadly the answer right now is no, but if anyone wants to take up this challenge who is an actual coder by trade I will help out as I can. #Food
I'd love for someone to create a #bookwyrm for for #recipes where you can share recipes, rank them and create #meal plans for yourself and others. Like whisk used to do until it was forcefully converted into #samsung #food and kind of broken and now you can pay a fee for what used to be free. Since its based on bookwyrm is should be called Mealwyrm. I will not be taking further questions.
