So, I'm just gonna wish y'all a successful day of slouching on your comfy couches and enjoy a restful and relaxing day.

It's a wet n rainy start to #myday here #today, putting a dampening on any plans for any outside doins. Not that I mind much, as I'm still feeling a bit "under the weather," as they say.

Kinda cool, too, at just 62deg. it's expected to stop raining soon and maybe even warm up near 70deg #today. Sorta makes it feel like a return to early spring after all the recent heat n humidity.

So, I'm figuring it's gonna be a long day of sitting n sipping and watching it rain from the comfort of my couch, dutifully slacking off on doing anything useful #today.

Y'all try to have a successful day of slacking off this #Slackerday, too. OKAY

I have to say #myday #today hasn't been the best.
Took my time n managed to get the essential Honey-doins done, but little else.

I eventually got the great idea to have a few stiff drinks with my lunch. It doubtfully will make my aches n pains go away. But I'm sure I really won't care.

Next up. Passing out on my comfy couch for a nice nap.

Good morning, y'all, and happy #TGIF Friday to ya.
Woke up feeling miserable #today. Rolled over feeling like dearh warmed over and wanting to stay there. But, I wasn't, so I didn't.

Made it out as far as slumping on my comfy couch and assessing #myday ahead. Didn't even feel like making over to sit n sip in the window to watch the sun rise n shine. Couldn't get motivated to toot to y'all until now either.

Instead, I've been forcing myself through my morning rituals and trying to get #myday properly underway.

It's looking like a day with lots of doin'' nothin' #today. Too bad, too. It's a lovely sunny day out there. Though they ARE calling for more raining on us again this afternoon.

Welp, gotta go get doin' some moving and perhaps find my coffee and get sipping. ️

Y'all do your best to have a decent #TGIF day today.

Hey, y'all . Happy Thursday morning to ya. It's a warm n muggy start to #myday #today. 70deg when rollin outa bed, the humidity near 90% and cloudy. Just about what I expect from the weather gods on trash day Thursdays.

There's even the prospect of rain at some muggy time #today. Probably starting just as soon as I have to roll my bin to the curb.

But, on the good side, there's not much needed to get done outside today. Working long n hard yesterday got most all of the mowing n whacking n grass trimming done til next cutting time. So, today, in comparison, will be a day of resting with my feet up and sipping on something to help me stay cool.

There's still, as always, Heather hollering about my household Honey-doins. But, for right now, I'll just sit back n sip my morning coffee and watch the clouds accumulate from the comfy of my seat by the window. ️

Good lovely Tuesday morning, y'all.
I'm up n moving early this morning in hopes of beating the heat and getting more outside Honey-doins done before it gets too hot here #today.

It was a warm 67deg start to #myday and is expected to be a hot n sunny mid 80deg day again #today. And being a Tuesday following a Mow the lawn Monday, mean a morning of grass trimming Tuesday #today. Hopefully, this morning's humidity will drop as the sun rises, or it's gonna be quite a sweaty experience.

But first, it's sitting n morning coffee sipping and watching the sun rise n shine. ️

Good Friday morning, y'all.
Welp. It's one of those damp n dreary mornings when ya look out the window and see a wet n foggy start to one's day and want to stay in bed.

But the call of the coffee pot and the need to heed the call of nature convinces it's time to rise n shine anyway.

So, here I sit n sip to start #myday #today and hoping there's few Honey-doins to do. Somehow, I've managed to agrivate my bruised ribs. So it's quite painful to move much this morning. I guess that'll be my excuse to do little more than sit and not move around a lot today.

So, #TGIF to y'all and bring out the PHUKITAL pills. It's a "not gonna" day for me here #today.

May your day pass pleasantly, and your own supply of PHUKITAL pills be plentiful.

Hey, y'all. Happy Thursday morning to ya. It's a damp n foggy and cloudy morning here #today. The sorta thing to wake to, see it, groan a bit, and cover up and stay in bed.

I was doing just that when the wife's phone alarm in the living room went off and continued ringing unattended until I couldn't take it anymore and had to stagger out to fetch it.

Amazingly, the wife was able to sleep right through it. Until I took the ringing thing into her to turn the noisy thing off.

But, by then, I relented to being up to start #myday. So... Welp, I'm up. The coffee is calling now, too. So, I suppose #myday has started, whether I like it or not.

I sure do hope your start this morning was much more pleasant, and you're really ready to face the day today.

Hey, y'all. Happy Tuesday to ya.

It's a wet n rainy start to #myday here #today. A mild 66deg start to my rainy morning. It's supposed to stay kinda cool in the loe to mid 70s #today thanks to the continuing raining all day.

It has been raining genlty all night with little breeze to blow it around. So I got to leave the windows open all night in search of freshly washed air cleaned of dusty smelly stuff. It seems to have worked.

So, here I sit and sip in the cool breeze flowing through my window this morning, thinking about the day ahead.

I'm off to visit my cardiologist today. Gotta get his opinion on why my heart is still pumping. So, if ya don't hear from me in a while, ya will know he looked n saw and kept me or something for something.

Welp. Off to coffee sipping and rain watching. Y'all have a terrific Tuesday #today.

I've been sitting here n sipping #myday away and been lookin out at the kinda sunny day and thinking how, all late Fall, Winter and early Springtime, I waiting n craving some time to sit in the sun.

But now that it's here in full blooming and high heating, I would just prefer to sit n sip and see it from my comfy seat through the window in the much cooler n comfortable "weather" in the house.

Don't know if this is a sad state of affairs or prudent postponement on my part.

I suppose more sitting n sipping and pondering is in order #today.

As a transplant from the "Great White North" of Upper Central NY, How I DO hate summertime in the South.

Good morning, y'all. Happy Easter and #SofaSunday to y'all who celibrate such things #today.

Would you believe it only dropped to 64deg here overnight. So, even with the windows open in search of cool air, there wasn't much out there to help cool off the place. With no wind to help the flow, it stayed pretty warm n not so coxy at 75deg in here.

Today is gonna by another hot one in the high 80s again #today. But at least it's expected to stay cloudy to keep the sun from roasting anyone willing to step out and face it today. Of course, the pollen and the miserable air quality are not being friendly either today.

So, I kinda thinking #myday is destined to be one of sofa surfing and couch potato-ing as is required for a proper day of #SofaSunday celibrating.

Good morning, y'all, and happy #Slackerday Saturday to ya.

The morning weather report says it's a pleasant 62deg ar wakeup #today, with a mostly cloudy day ahead, but still expected to hit the high 80deg mark today.

The whole future forecast is looking like that. So, I guess it's about that time to take up the ol summer window strategy of closing up tight, with the curtains closed, to the daily overheating and opening at dusk to collect the fresh n cooler nights for comfortably sleeping.
Hopefully, the humidity will help out for a while. And the pollen .

Not much planned to happen here #today. The rib still hollers when twisted too wrongly. So, I'm gonna be paying attention to its wishes n not moving a lot.

But, then it IS #Slackerday Saturday. So, not much is expected, but some procrastinating over some puttering and pondering #myday over more sipping. ️

Welp. I suppose I should get busy doing that. Y'all have a great n successful day of Slacking today.

I'm sorta up but moving sorta slowly this morning. Between a sugar crashing from last night's donut feasting and bruising a rib yesterday trying to help the wife with laundry ( don't ask ), it's a late and hard moving morning here.

But I'll pop a PHUKITAL pill and get up n out to stsrt my sit n sip session shortly. Just have to find the fortitude to find n dress n get going.

Not much on my agenda of #myday. It's another hot day in the 80s, but kinda less sunny and more cloudy than yesterday. So, maybe a bit of outside activity.

If my ribs will let me. So, maybe not. Only my sitting n sipping and further flexing n movement and pondering my predicament with discover that.

But, whatever the outcome for me, y'all try to survive your Friday. Just keep in mind, it's only one more shift to #Slackerday Saturday.

Was woken a tad early this morning by a bright shaft of sunshine streaming through my bedroom window. It kinda made it hard to keep laying there n ignoring it.

So, I'm up to start #myday sitting n sipping in the lovely morning sunshine already #today.️

Besides the bright n shiny sunshine to sit n sip in, it's a very comfortable 55deg morning and heading into the mid 70s again #today. Good weather to spend #myday outside, dutifully doin my Weed Whacking Wednesday duties.

But, my body is calling for maybe a less stressful day after just expending the spoons these past two, toiling away at mowing on Monday and trimming on Tuesday. So, it's gonna be a sit n sip n ponder and see what this ol geezer body decides.

Push comes to shove, there's always Heather waiting in the wings to holler about my inside Honey-doins.

Welp. Y'all have a happy day jumping the ol hump #today.

Welp. The morning working in the sunshine is done for #myday #today.
My spoons are spent, and this old body says QUIT!
So, it's time for some sitting n sipping in the cooler air inside on my comfy couch.

It's too hot outside now for any more weed workout n grass clipping anyway. But gotta big dent in the mess, and there's always "grass trimming Tuesday" and "weed whacking Wednesday" to look forward to.

Now, it's restin, coolin' off n sipping something cool n refreshing. Then it's up and tackling Heather's usual Monday Honey-doin list.

Hey, y'all . Good morning to ya.

Welp. It has finally become that time of year. Spring has sprung, the yard is green, and now it's time to mow the thing.

Yup, #today marks the start of #myday's of miserable mowing Mondays.

That's, of course, on top of all the miserable Monday Honey-doins that have to get done somehow.

At least, the weather is up for it, even if I'm not. It's a warm n sunny 53deg start to my morning sipping and is expected to hit the mid 80s #today.

So, yeah. The summer shorts are coming outa the closet today.

Yelp, I suppose I should get this "show on the road," as they say. The coffee needs sipping n sunshine to sit in.

Y'all try have have a decent Monday today.

I've been through so many traumatic events in my life that I can't even put them into words. 2020 was a dream year compared to 2023 and 2024. This year has been one of recovery in many ways.

A telling example is that this week, from Monday to Friday, was nearly perfect. I felt fine, and current events are going well, considering the circumstances. But on Friday, when I finally got off work and was supposed to relax, I fell into a deep mental pit. At 3am, I woke up in the midst of a pretty bad panic attack. My autonomic nervous system was in a state of shock.

Today, I feel somewhat baffled by all this. I know I can cope - and I will thrive. This too shall pass; it will just take time, perhaps months or years. This too makes me stronger.

I'm up to see a foggy but sunny start to my #Slackerday #today. A decent 42deg at my sipping start n heading for a sunny 65deg day today.

Woke up Kinda extra stiff n achy from over doin yesterday. I sorta lifted too much n strained some and hurt my chest. Hopefully, it's just muscle n not my heart. But gonna be cautious n sit n sip an extra bit lpnger n wait n see what #myday brings my way #today .

Anyways, I'm figuring it's gonna be no problem n effort to sit back n sip slowly in the morning sunshine and find nothing worth doing much of today. At least thems the plans.

Y'all have a great day being a little lazy, procrastinating a lot, and doin less working today.

Up n finding a rather warm n sunny start to #myday #today. A decent 47deg on grabbing my coffee and sitting to see a pleasant day ahead with it warming into the mid 70s #today.

Of course, it being "trash to the curb day", they are calling for the possibly of somes storming, possibly even some severe stuff sometime developing this afternoon.

Other than my weather report for today, there is not much to toot about this morning. I suppose I could moan n groan about feeling extra stiff n finding moving extra tough today.

But I'll just say I've made to my sit n sip position successfully with my coffee and gonna sit a bit longer n stretch a bit more to get this old body working today. ️
