Sander Meijer<p>My sister and brother-in-law are visiting this week and we took the opportunity to hike a part of the Bernese Oberland we have never been to. From Gimmelwald in the Lauterbrunnen Valley we hiked to Tanzbedeli (local dialect for the more general Swiss German Tanzbödeli, which translates to "small dance floor"). It is a small flat summit near Spitzhoren and one can imagine people indeed have been dancing here in the past. </p><p>We were blown away, literally, so we descended after only a short stay. We slowly came back in the valley where the trees were very colorful. A coffee with apple pie was the perfect ending of this longer hike.</p><p><a href="https://mountains.social/tags/Tanzb%C3%B6deli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tanzbödeli</span></a> <a href="https://mountains.social/tags/Hiking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Hiking</span></a> <a href="https://mountains.social/tags/Lauterbrunnen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Lauterbrunnen</span></a> <a href="https://mountains.social/tags/BerneseOberland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BerneseOberland</span></a> <a href="https://mountains.social/tags/Switzerland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Switzerland</span></a></p>
