(maybe I am just blind)</p><p>unigine sound sources don't just have spread (?), they also have an ✨orientation✨.</p><p>"Outer Gain HF enhances the source's directivity by filtering high frequencies in the zone outside the cone (in the rear of the source). The underlying reason of this parameter is that sounds in the real world are more directive at high frequencies than at low ones."</p>
Juno Jove<p>Damn, <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/unigine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>unigine</span></a> has a really nice and clean architecture.</p><p>Like, it does a bunch of things way, way, WAY cleaner than other engines with C# bindings.</p><p>So much cleaner, I think I'm a little bit in love.</p><p>Update, UpdateSyncThread and UpdateAsyncThread alone are amazingly simple solutions.</p><p>As is the system of identifying things by UIDs passed into Attributes that decorate component classes.</p><p>So easy to eliminate meta files.</p><p>It has slight shortcomings in the API for Mesh Clusters though, pity.</p>

Inzwischen etwas in Vergessenheit geraten.</p><p>Dann 2022 zum 10-jährigen Jubiläum als Freeware freigegen ist es verschwunden. Homepage down. Running smooth and figured out almost everything that needed to be functioning. Only dualboot remained sketchy and audio is only through headphone jack. Ran a <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/unigine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>unigine</span></a> <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/superposition" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>superposition</span></a> benchmark and surprisingly got a better score than after a clean win10 install.
