Every LMS I've ever used has convinced me of the importance of user-centered #design. A huge issue in all of them (#moodle, #brightspace, and #blackboard) is the sheer, mind-numing, RSI-inducing number of mouse clicks required to do almost anything.

Nearly every task in an #LMS has the potential to be done thousands of times per semester or more by an instructor. Reasonable, intuitive, ergonomic keyboard shortcuts would be very helpful. They rarely exist.

One of the best things about having a long running, epic groupchat with people from all over the continent each with massively diverse backgrounds, experiences, and educations is knowing that whatever you do and wherever you go there will be someone who can chime in to add detail and color to enrich that experience.

Ours coalesced around the #phishthoughts #blackboard and has evolved and grown to now being about a baker's dozen years in length and much much bigger in scope and import.
