Yesterday’s Paul Smith special edition concentrated on the aesthetics but today’s Mini is all about performance. The 1989 ERA Mini Turbo used a turbocharged MG Metro engine and a host of other mechanical and body mods that made it the fastest Mini ever sold through official dealership channels - although the upgrades were carried out by the former English Racing Automobiles, famous for its 1940s/50s race cars. Snapped: British Motor Museum, 2025.

The #McCarthy - #Era will be a "Walk in the Park" against these #brainwashed #Trump-#Zombies, cleaning the #Authorities from #Adversaries. This weakens by the Way the Security in every thinkable Form and strengthens the Will for #Whistleblowers
and #Sabotage from within. You can't find so many Trump loyal People, to control such big #Entities like #FBI, #NSA and #CIA. They rip them apart, but this will cause a lot of #Trouble. Does anyone respect #PamBondi ? It's a #Joke.

#Tech, overall, doesn't seem to notice "blind-whip", where changes in the logic and display throws all user inputs from the previous screen into a frozen or miss-key state. It's a microsecond error that destroys user fidelity and flow state.

Yet, it's building as a huge IDGAF designer outcome across most website and app designs in this #era.

To explain user horror, it's like being on a military parade ground while talking to just one active parader.

I keep seeing articles about how Biden is saying the Equal Rights Amendment is now part of the Constitution. It's making me feel some pretty red hot rage that he's trying to make us think that two days before a rapist becomes president and starts implementing all the crap in Project 2025, women don't have to worry as much because now we're equal in the Constitution. WTF. It's not in the Constitution just because he says so and women are currently second class citizens in this country. Gah I haven't been this mad since election night. #USPol #ERA #WomensRights

FYI, via Lawrence Tribe:

"It is not necessary for the Nat Archivist to publish #ERA in order for it to be adopted according to the provisions of Constitution. The President avoided triggering a clash w Archivist, who recently announced her intention to defy her statutory, & purely ministerial, duty to publish the ERA. The only reason Congress gave the Archivist such a duty nearly a century ago was to ensure that the Nation got word that an amendment was in force..."

The Contrarian · The Equal Rights Amendment at Long LastBy Laurence Tribe

Democrats Abroad has been part of the effort since we unanimously passed an #ERA resolution in 2018.

We agree with American Bar Association that there is no statute of limitations on ratifications, and call upon the US Archivist to do her job and publish the #28thAmendment of the #USConstitution, codifying equal rights for women and LGBTQ+ individuals.

Thank you President Biden for bringing this 102 year journey to a close.

2/ Lawrence Tribe's take on Biden's #ERA statement: "It is not necessary for the National Archivist to publish the ERA in order for it to be adopted according to the provisions of the Constitution. The President avoided triggering a clash with the Archivist, who recently announced her intention to defy her statutory, and purely ministerial, duty to publish the ERA. The only reason Congress gave the Archivist such a duty nearly a century ago was to ensure that the Nation got word that an amendment was in force, enabling officials at all levels of government to conform their actions to it. In our modern age of broadcast, cable and internet communication, the President’s announcement itself performed that function." contrarian.substack.com/p/the-

The Contrarian · The Equal Rights Amendment at Long LastBy Laurence Tribe

Biden on the ERA: "I agree with the ABA and with leading legal constitutional scholars that the Equal Rights Amendment has become part of our Constitution.

It is long past time to recognize the will of the American people. In keeping with my oath and duty to Constitution and country, I affirm what I believe and what three-fourths of the states have ratified: the 28th Amendment is the law of the land, guaranteeing all Americans equal rights and protections under the law regardless of their sex."

It's not clear to me from this statement that the Constitution has, in fact, been amended. Is this wishcasting? Will it happen? What will the Republican trifecta do to counter this Biden statement?

This amendment is not listed on the NARA website. Yet. If ever. Am I too cynical? #WomensRights #ERA whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/s
