I did a book order through my local indie bookstore and I got a call today asking if I wanted to use my $16 credit I had earned towards my order. Ummm... Yes. And I was unaware that I was even earning credit. Way to make my day! Indie bookstores are awesome!

I am trying to avoid #Amazon. Is there any comparable online #bookstore in Europe that sells #English-language #books? I sometimes buy at Worldofbooks in the UK, but they only sell used books and sometimes I want to read something before it hits the used book market. I am in Germany, but would happily pay a little extra for shipping from other EU countries instead of ordering at Amazon.
