1. Turns out I *do* have GamePass, so I'm installing the new Oblivion overnight

2. I was actually able to rest and vibe today, spending most of it playing City Skylines (it's been SO hard for me just to relax lately, this is a huge win)

3. Have refound my braincells for learning Japanese and am enjoying the renshuu app/website a lot.

Excitement my family didn't need:

My 100-year-old dad in Florida has two caregivers who cover his days: one does 4 days, one does 3. The 3-day caregiver is our primary contact, and she's wonderful.

Got a message this morning from the 3-day caregiver that the other one just quit. The 3-day caregiver will now cover all days (11 in a row) until a new 4-day caregiver can start after Mother's Day.

Big thank-you bonus check is in the overnight mail to the 3-day caregiver.

Today I saw a headline that used EW in it. My first take was "Entertainment Weekly, the magazine?" and then I sat with that for a moment, enjoying the humor of it, and then blinked slowly and thought "Electronic Warfare" and that made much more sense.

And then I briefly considered Entertainment Weekly as Electronic Warfare and I had another little chuckle. EW EW. It's only one letter away from PEW PEW.

It's a mystery yet unsolved. Spent the whole day #today at the hospital getting my belly checked out. X rays, CT scan, blood n pee tested, and nothing outa the ordinary found.

So, now I'm back home to eat n drink something since I've had nothin but water since 8 pm last night. 😋

I'm still feeling bloated, and my belly is still growling n burping inside. So, I don't know what to think or do.😏
I guess eat something and find out. 💪

Anyway, #myday visiting doctors n nurses is over for the day, and Heather is happy I can get back busy doin my Monday Honey-doins. 💪😊

Good morning!

As usual, sleeping on the problem gave clarity, and upon waking #today I realised I’ve decided to stick with one narrator for this yet-unnamed project (「lupercalia」?) . I intend to approach this the way I approached 「midsummer」, in that I will madman-rush to write the entire thing as a shoddy imprecise mess, and then hammer it into something resembling a novel in the edit.

Hopefully this week of vacation will see much writing! …After today’s meeting, of course. 😒💢

Good morning!

A misty, moisty morning for my walk today, with rain coming again this afternoon. I'm planning to spend most of my day indoors and writing, with a break now and again to get some necessary cleaning done.

Nothing exciting or interesting to say today.

Have a good one, my friends.
#Today

#today it is much cooler - yesterday it rained again, this morning, too. The cats are hiding in blankets if they can't find a warm lap to sleep on. The kitten now found out how to get into my study - will have to keep the door closed when I want to work, they were all over the room and Ayman, the bigger one, is very naughty, he climbed up to the parrot's cage and nearly got into a fight with Kuku, the African Grey.
